Here is how it works:
E-learning, Confined and Open Water Training
Your program will consist of 3 components: online academic development, confined water skill development & open water dives. The online academics delivered by PADI is highly interactive, with most students completing the training within 10 hours. The confined water training is conducted in our onsite pool. The average class will complete the pool training within 9 hours conducted over 3 different evenings. The confined water is competency based, so we take the time that is necessary to ensure that everyone is comfortable and ready to move to the open water. The open water consists of 4 open water dives conducted over 2 days. The current price for the online academics through PADI is approximately $244.00 CDN, the confined and open water training is an additional $650.00. Each student is required to have their own mask, snorkel, wetsuit boots, cold water fins and a pair of neoprene gloves. Diving Dynamics maintains a full inventory of equipment to ensure you can be outfitted. Throughout the course, Diving Dynamics will provide for you: the regulatory system, dive computer, semi-dry wetsuit for the open water & the SCUBA cylinders. If you have travel plans, we can complete your confined water at our office and you can choose to certify in the warmer waters on your vacation. * Reminder: Diving Dynamics is an accredited post-secondary school. This means that all tuition is GST and PST exempt and tax deductible. We are also recognized by the Ministry of Education and therefore most courses are recognized for school credits. *
